Criterion Tool is a female-owned, non-union, precision machine shop that strives for excellence in machining for the “No Failure” industries of Medical Device, Aerospace, Defence and Photonics. Tanya received her Bachelor’s in Marketing, from Bowling Green State University. In addition to managing a precision machine shop, Tanya is the past president of the Cleveland Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association, a past board member of the Alliance for Working Together, along with holding memberships in Bio-Ohio, Wirenet, and the Precision Machines Products Association. Tanya DiSalvo is president of Criterion Tool. Born and raised in a suburb of Cleveland, Tanya is the third-
generation owner and President of Criterion Tool. She received her bachelor’s in marketing from Bowling
Green State University. In addition to managing, Criterion, a dynamic manufacturing company that produces
precision machined components for “NO FAILURE INDUSTRIES” medical device, aerospace & weapons
firing, Tanya is past president of the Cleveland Chapter of the National Tooling and Machining Association, a
past board member of the Alliance for Working Together (AWT) along with holding memberships in BioOhio,
WIRE-Net, and the Precision Machined Products Association (PMPA). Promoting rewarding careers in
manufacturing to the next generation is her passion. Being on the water in boats, jet skis or kayaks with her two
