Joined the Molina Healthcare of Ohio team in October 2019 as the VP, Healthcare Services with senior leadership responsibility. Focused on developing strategy, growing the business within the Ohio market, and working alongside the clinical teams, ensuring individual Ohioans receive necessary care and services along the health and wellness continuum.
Senior Executive Health Services Leader with 40 years of experience in nursing, 20+ in health care and health plan administration, P&L management, and new business development. Direct clinical experience in palliative care, hospice care, home care, pain management, and case management practice. Current Registered Nurse licensure in three states: Ohio, Florida, and Arizona.
In-depth understanding of the challenges facing complex and underserved populations / Medicaid / Medicare / Marketplace recipients both from the direct clinical practice and payer side. Experience includes executive leadership and P&L management of health plan clinical service areas including case management, disease management / population health, utilization management, quality management / improvement, clinical auditing, quality, and 24-hour nurse triage; as well as designing innovative programs to help better serve the needs of Medicaid / Medicare / Marketplace members while driving financial efficiency.
