SPECIAL GUEST

Alison Walker

Alison Walker is Head of Marketing for Picavi, an award-winning provider of pick-by-vision solutions in intralogistics. Since getting her degree from the University of Pennsylvania, she has worked in marketing for most of her career, both as a marketing project manager for national and international non-profits (most recently SPIE, the international society for optics and photonics), as well as head of marketing for a company that provided warehouse management software and voice-picking solutions (Vitech Business Group, now part of Körber).

Marketing brings together her interests in design, coding, and storytelling. She enjoys creating both the copy and the visual elements of a good story and getting people excited about what they see. And right now, Picavi has compelling stories to share.

Outside of the office she continues to pursue these interests, volunteering her time creating websites and materials for local nonprofits and political campaigns. When not working or volunteering, she can be found hiking with dogs taking photos along the way, or learning Spanish so she can share stories in other languages.
