Eric Voyles is the Executive Vice President and Chief Economic Development Officer at TexAmericas Center responsible for lease portfolio of 560,000sf; efforts to lease or sell over 1,000,000sf of commercial space in the areas of Office, Warehouse, Production/Manufacturing, Dry Storage, Explosive Bunkers/Magazines; and, 12,000 acres of ground. A seasoned public-private partnership economic developer with over 20 years of progressive experience in regional Economic and Community Development, Eric has a proven track record of delivering significant bottom-line results being resourceful and performing well with limited supervision and resources.
Eric has the ability to build strong coalitions across public and private sectors. He has managed two Non-Profit Organization mergers, managed two incubator programs, developed and managed two targeted industry cluster development strategies – the first focused on rail service capabilities and the other aerospace and aviation. Eric launched two international business development programs, started a state of Illinois funded Entrepreneurship Center & International Trade Center, and ran a NFP land-holding / development company, where he closed out a 150+ acre development and launched a 350- acre business park.
