Jean Angus is the president and CEO of Life Sciences at Saint-Gobain, a 44.1B € (2021 sales) company, operating in 68 countries, with more than 170,000 employees. Saint-Gobain has been recognized as a Top 100 Global Innovator and is one of only fourteen companies recognized as a Top Global Employer.    

 

Working in multiple industries, Jean has over twenty-five years of broad-based, global experience, including global business management, strategy development, sales and marketing, manufacturing, supply chain, innovation, and R&D. In her role as Life Sciences’ president and CEO, Jean leads the development and manufacturing of high-performance components and integrated solutions for industries such as biopharmaceuticals, medical and food and beverage. 

 

Jean and her team are building a customer-focused culture, where strong material expertise complements unparalleled co-development capabilities. She brings a passion for growing businesses to her leadership role. She believes everyone is creative and strives to connect all employees to customers’ experiences, ultimately fostering a culture in which everyone contributes to the growth of the business.    

 

Jean joined Saint-Gobain in 2011 as Director of Innovation Processes and was promoted to General Manager Seals Engineered Components before taking her role leading Life Sciences in 2018. She received a Master’s of Science in Business and Environmental Management from the University of Findlay and a Bachelor’s of Science in Biochemistry from Auburn University.
