AS CEO, John W. Kennedy is responsible for setting the strategic direction of NJMEP as well as Business Development, Sales, Strategic Implementation Partners and New Initiatives.
Mr. Kennedy will contribute to NJMEP his talents of Manufacturing Expertise, Engineering, Project Management, Operations, Team Building, Budgets, Cost Control, Public Relations, Technical Training and Strategic Alliances.
Most recently, Mr. Kennedy was a Corporate Senior Vice President for Cofely Services (and President-US Market), which provides high-end operation, maintenance, manufacturing, and integration of sorting & security equipment for major airports throughout the United States and the World. Cofely is a $200 million firm in North America, and a key component of the energy giant, GDF Suez.
Prior to his work with Cofely, Mr. Kennedy owned The Multitech Group, a Business/Engineering design & services firm that worked mainly at government facilities (TSA, DHS, DOD, & DOL), power plants and airports. A key focus was the development and implementation of O&M Training and Documentation for Manufacturing and Integration companies. This work also included TQM, ISO, and Six-Sigma programs.
He has 12-years of frontline manufacturing experience in the Material Handling industry with Sandvik Process Systems and Coleman Equipment Company. Also, during his career Mr. Kennedy has been directly responsible for over $1 billion in product and services sold, and has managed staffs of up to 300 people.
Mr. Kennedy currently serves on the Executive Board (Local & National) for the Boy Scouts of America, the NJ Special Olympics, and the Board of Directors of the Park Avenue Club Foundation which supports 11 local charities.
